In 2025, adidas celebrated the global debut of the Adizero Goukana sneaker at the adidas Melrose Flagship store, spotlighting a new silhouette rooted in Los Angeles’ creative energy. The launch followed the Goukana’s buzzworthy first appearance at the closing runway show of Los Angeles Fashion Week, setting the foundation for its exclusive retail drop in adidas’ LA and NYC flagship stores.

A full Goukana takeover in the silhouette’s signature Victory Yellow set the tone, paired with newly released LA-inspired apparel. The Goukana design team was joined by the local designers who first showcased the sneaker on the Fashion Week runway. Guests received a limited-edition zine outlining the shoe’s production story, design influences, and couture looks from the adidas Los Angeles Fashion Week show, cementing the Goukana as a bold new chapter in the Adizero lineup.
