The Price Is Right tour across America needed a truck and Pink Sparrow was the shop to do it. I was involved with the technology integration primarily, but also involved with the opening day installation and other punch-list items throughout the build. With a team of two, we developed a copy of the exact functions of the original wheel using hall effect sensors, magnets embedded in the wheel body, and two arduinos. We then created a custom seven segment display and coded the appropriate communications from the sensors to the display. The code was written so that the behavior of the display could be adjusted as desired, and I was flown to Dallas, TX in order to execute such a change order during the tour.
